At Barlborough treatment centre we offer free NHS treatments to all patients. You are not required to pay if you are an NHS patient and have been referred for treatment by your GP.
We also offer an affordable self pay option for patients who do not have health insurance, or have been told they are ineligible for NHS treatment.
A hip revision, or repeat hip replacement, involves replacing a patient’s artificial hip joint if it has become loose, infected or worn out.
Injections are a fast and easy method of easing joint pain and inflammation in the hip caused by arthritis/osteoarthritis. Injections include steroids, to ease inflammation.
In this surgical procedure, the hip joint is replaced by an implant. It can be performed as a total replacement or a half replacement. Hip replacement is one of the most common orthopaedic operations.
Along with all Independent Sector healthcare providers we are currently supporting NHS England during the Coronavirus crisis. This has sadly meant that any patients who were scheduled to visit us have had their treatment postponed. While we are not yet able to give patients a revised surgery date, we are doing our utmost to get through the impact of this pandemic and re-open at the earliest opportunity.
