Information for patients and visitors
NHS England is currently using our hospital for extra capacity – to help ease the pressures on the NHS as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic – and our team is doing all it can to support them.
However, If you had started the process of having treatment with us before the pandemic took hold, we are also extremely conscious of the difficulties you may be facing as a result of the delay to your treatment. Please know that we are all thinking of you and look forward to welcoming you at our hospital when the time comes to do so.
Whilst we are not yet in a position to be re-opening the Treatment Centre for our own patients, please be assured that we will be doing our utmost to get through the impact of this pandemic and to re-open at the earliest opportunity. We will be in contact to book your appointment as soon as we are able.
As you know we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our hospital and are already working on ways to ensure that our outstanding record of cleanliness and low infection rates is maintained. We want you to have every confidence in coming to see us when the time is right and patient safety will continue to be our number one priority.

In order to protect our staff and patients in light of the COVID-19 crisis, please note the following guidance.
We will be unable to accept any visitors to our inpatient ward. Please contact the centre for updates on your relatives.
Discharge of patients:
We will contact you when the patient is ready for discharge. Please report to reception, via telephone, that you have arrived and then wait in your car for the patient to be brought downstairs and outside by ward staff.
If you have an appointment with us somebody will be in touch to discuss. All surgical and pre-operative consultations are cancelled until further notice.
