Areas where Care UK Healthcare has achieved high standards in care include: an Enhanced Recovery Pathway to help orthopaedic patients rehabilitate as quickly and safely as possible; Pocket Physio, which is a mobile app that provides physiotherapy support and advice to patients; an innovative Patient Advice Line, and; a 100% record for preventing hospital-acquired C.Diff and MRSA BSI.
Innovations in care which have helped Care UK Healthcare reach the final of the Health Investor Awards 2018 include: reducing waiting times; new websites for all nine treatment centres, each with a strong focus on explaining patient choice; managing resources and capacity, and; the introduction of a ‘self-pay’ option for patients who are affected by long waiting times and restrictions.
