They may have been in their PJs but the team at Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre were not slow off the mark in raising funds for Friday’s Red Nose Day.

Raffles and donations from staff, patients and visitors raised around £290 for the charity that supports groups tackling poverty and social injustice.

Hospital director Steve Booker said: “Everyone had a great time supporting this worthwhile event in aid of Comic Relief. As well as being a great opportunity to raise funds, pyjama day may have been the most comfortable day at work ever!”
